How is McConnell feeling about Pelosi withholding articles of impeachment from the Senate?

He is meeting with someone who we'd probably consider to be an enemy and he's doing it in secret. Because the Journey card is central, I think it's foreign rather than domestic. Either he's going to them or they're coming to him. There's a lot of sneaking around and shadiness. He's looking for a solution to this problem of her not giving him and Trump what they want. What this means exactly, I don't know. He's determined to have the upper hand and he's not going to budge on calling witnesses. There's no intention of having a fair trial, and if he has his way, either the trial will happen regardless of what Pelosi does, or he's happy to let Trump find a way to nullify it (which from what the news is reporting, it looks like Trump would like to do since he's not getting the instant exoneration that McConnell promised him).
