What happened to the missing Colorado boy, Gannon Stauch?
I want to switch gears away from politics to true crime for a moment. I normally stay away from these types of readings because it involves people that are experiencing heartache and trauma. I do these as a hobby for entertainment purposes only, and speculating on serious matters comes with a possibility of increasing the heartache victims feel. Combine that with the likelihood of being wrong, and I just avoid it.
However, I happened upon the story of Gannon's disappearance, watched an interview that his stepmother gave, and decided to look at what happened to him because she feels shady. So keep in mind this is my opinion only, it shouldn't be taken as fact, and people should seek answers from police.
The first question was, what happened to Gannon?
This doesn't tell me what happened to him but I think does suggest a bit of what was surrounding his disappearance.
I feel like Gannon is represented by the Sun. This is a sweet child with a very warm personality who brightens up the lives of the people around him. On one hand he's someone with a happy childhood. But I also feel like he was unhappy with his stepmother in particular. Based on her interview, I feel like she's not a nice person, to put it mildly.
The Sun is crossed by the Hierophant which represents the institution of marriage. So there were marital problems and Gannon was somehow involved. Whether it's because she was taking those problems out on Gannon or he somehow inserted himself (perhaps by seeing or hearing something, or sticking up for his dad if she bad-mouthed him), I don't know.
I intentionally keep my cards upright and the 4 of Wands still came out reversed. This is an unhappy home. Someone could've been neglecting their domestic duties, the home could've been somehow unstable, or there was a lack of support. With the lack of support aspect, this could refer to the stepmother, Gannon, or both. The overall theme here is that it's not a home where people have each other's backs.
The 2 of Cups suggests a relationship or partnership. I don't think it's referring to Gannon's dad, although it could. If it is his father, the King of Swords would represent him as being career oriented in the military and not emotionally available for his wife and children. However, that wasn't my first impression. I'm just throwing this out there as an alternate interpretation.
What it suggests to me is that the stepmom has a man on the side. This is someone she's either in a relationship with or has an agreement of some sort with. Due to the marriage problems and unhappy home, she made this man an offer. I don't know what that offer is. There's no money cards here, but I kind of feel like she's a gold digger. She'll wrap guys around her finger to get what she wants out of life. This man is somehow involved in Gannon's disappearance.
Next I decided to try Lenormand - did the stepmother hurt Gannon?
These cards don't indicate yes or no because it's a negative and two neutrals. But it reads to me like Gannon's life was ended by a man that the stepmother was having sex with. If this isn't a man she's cheating with, then it's her husband. In that case it's saying she ended Gannon's life because of his father.
Next I asked how they harmed Gannon.
The Heart would indicate to me a crime of passion. This doesn't make much sense to me because there was obviously some degree of malice aforethought in what she did. She didn't send him to school that day and I doubt it's because he was sick like she claims. Nonetheless it was a decision she made just prior to his disappearance.
Fish would normally be money, finances, or perhaps multiples of something. But I think it's just showing water. There's three cards in my deck that show water - Ship, Moon, and Fish. Ship would be a large expanse of water like an ocean or sea. Moon feels like a lake or pond. Fish feels like a river or stream. He's in or near water. Snake is betrayal or backstabber. That's his stepmother.
To break it down simply: a crime of passion where he was placed in or near water by someone who betrayed him. This is where it gets confusing because the first spread indicates a man did it, and the second one indicates his stepmother betrayed him. The truth and details are probably somewhere between those two factors. Again, it could just be saying she did it because of marital problems.
Last I asked how they harmed Gannon.
Again with the Ring we're seeing people in a relationship, partnership, or an agreement. The Cross represents misfortune. The Scythe is an accident. This is saying two people conspired to make his death look like an accident, or because of her marriage she decided to make his death look like an unfortunate accident. This lines up with the lie she told that he went to a friend's house and didn't come home. I haven't read up on much prior to the surveillance video coming out, but I vaguely recall them treating it as a missing persons case. She wanted it to look like he took off and had an accident.
Gannon is probably in or near mountains in a wooded area with water. Being placed in water is the most likely possibility, but it's also possible he's simply nearby water. I don't know anything about Colorado, but I'm assuming this probably describes the entire city they live in. If/when he's found, that's where it'll be though.
Again, this is all speculation. I hope that sweet boy is found safe and brought home. I hope his family finds peace and comfort. And if anyone has harmed him, I hope they're brought to justice.
